i didn’t get any error in terminal…..what mistake i had?…otherwise will possible to reinstall it…..

Hi, Rosario, i use debian, but it seems that i have the correct package of empathy, but still i couldn’t see tha Talk option. When i started empathy from console i had this errors:

** (empathy:9825): DEBUG: mission_control_get_presence_actual: MC not running.
** (empathy:9825): DEBUG: mission_control_get_presence_message_actual: MC not running.
** (empathy:9825): DEBUG: mission_control_get_online_connections: MC not running.
** (empathy:9825): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running.
** (empathy:9825): DEBUG: mission_control_get_connection_status: MC not running.
** (empathy:9825): DEBUG: mission_control_get_tpconnection: MC not running.
** (empathy:9825): DEBUG: mission_control_get_tpconnection: MC not running.

i also got the same troubbles, it’s greyed out at at the context.

In my terminal it doesn’t shows the error msg…but the option “ROOM” is disabled……it doesn’t able to chat…..mainly the options in chat,…are disabled…how to find my problem in empathy……give some suggestion for solve that …….

I’ve installed the latest empathy 2.23.6, when I right click I can see the call option but it’s inactive, why can that be?
